- I have been a police officer in a major Florida city for the last 27 years. I was staring down the barrel of retirement and quite frankly it was pretty scary considering my wife of 7 years filed for a divorce in July of 07! I absolutely love my job and am looking forward to continuing this career in a smaller department that borders our city. I am blessed with three people in my life that have really stepped up to the plate and taken great care of me through this very difficult time. One of which got me into this whole blogging thing. I can honestly say that if it had not been for them I am not sure where I would be today. So, barring the divorce, I am a very happy man with some awesome people in my life. Well, that is just a little about me and what is going on in my world, so stand by and we will get to know each other. Hopefully I can provide some laughs in your world because believe me I have some serious venting, ranting and raving to do! As I say good bye I will quote one of the three mentioned above, a gentleman that I call my "dad", "We will talk later"!

Mrs. "Smith" HaHaHa no, I am a huge animal lover. One of the momma chickens was killed and left a baby. I got the baby from Aza and am raising it.
Officer Smith I have been so busy with all of this retirement stuff. Dang its easier to get hired.
